XUYU Optoelectronics Showcases at White Light LED Healthy Lighting Seminar, Sharing Spectral Innovation Leading Light Health Applications

On July 26-27, the "White Light LED Healthy Lighting Seminar," supported by the China Association for Science and Technology and hosted by the China Illuminating Engineering Society, was held at the China Hall of Science and Technology. Over 20 leading experts from universities, research institutions, and enterprises gathered for in-depth discussions on relevant topics.

Chen Lei, R&D Director of Shenzhen XUYU Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., was invited as a key industry representative to attend and deliver a keynote speech. Titled "Spectral Design Innovation in Light Health Applications," Director Chen Lei systematically shared XUYU Optoelectronics' technological innovations and spectral design philosophy in the field of full-spectrum LEDs, as well as the practical application of spectral optimization technology in healthy lighting. He highlighted a major breakthrough achieved by his team's independently developed "Dual-Blue Light Technology" — significantly reducing harmful blue light components in the spectrum while simultaneously achieving higher color rendering performance (Ra/Rf). This innovation not only provides superior light source solutions for healthy lighting but also strongly promotes the formulation and refinement of related industry standards. It clearly demonstrates XUYU Optoelectronics' practical path of enhancing light health levels through core light source technology innovation.

During the open discussion session, participating experts engaged in lively debates on core topics including "Research on Full-Spectrum LED Technical Specifications and Scientific Definitions," "Evaluation Indicators and Grading Standards for LED Lighting Products," and "Innovative Applications of Wide-Spectrum LEDs in Metrology and Calibration." Drawing on their respective research expertise, they delved into the critical issues surrounding technology implementation.

The experts reached a consensus: Healthy lighting using white light LEDs must prioritize technological innovation to advance the implementation of technologies like full-spectrum LEDs. Concurrently, efforts should focus on improving technical specifications, product evaluation standards, and metrology and calibration protocols. Healthy lighting should balance technical performance with scenario adaptability and strengthen collaboration across industry, academia, and research (IAR). Recommendations included accelerating the formulation of relevant national standards, promoting the integration of metrology technology with industry, and enhancing fundamental research to support the standardized development of healthy lighting.

Following the seminar, experts visited the Changping campus of the National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China, for a field trip. They toured a series of core optical and optical radiation metrology facilities, gaining practical insights into this internationally advanced metrology science platform.
