The two provincial science and technology awards both coming home not only affirm Xuyu Optoelectronics’ technological accumulation, but also serve as a footnote to the company’s deepening expansion into light health and medical-aesthetics phototherapy. After 16 years of deep cultivation in the semiconductor light-emitting field—from full-spectrum eye-care lighting to medical-aesthetics phototherapy devices, and from a component supplier to a light-health solution provider—Xuyu Optoelectronics is using light technology as a fulcrum to leverage a broader landscape of health applications.
As of now, Xuyu Optoelectronics owns more than 200 patents, including over 100 granted invention patents, 38 international PCT invention patents, and 5 integrated circuit layouts. It has led or participated in drafting more than 50 national standards and group standards, using standards to guide industry development. The company has received numerous honors, including the 19th, 22nd, 23rd, and 25th National Invention Patent Awards, the Science and Technology Invention Award of the China National Light Industry Council, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, the Mayor Quality Award of Bao’an District, Shenzhen, the Gold Medal at the 26th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, and the Guangdong Manufacturing Single Champion award—demonstrating the strength and responsibility of an SRDI enterprise.
Its core business covers the following segments: light-health semiconductor devices, high-power-density ultra-high-efficiency devices, spectrally intelligent controlled plant lighting devices, machine vision light-sensing semiconductor functional devices, wearable medical-aesthetics flexible devices and modules, intelligent IC chip design and packaging/testing, and optical information semiconductor devices and optical engines.
